Olivia and Mitchell are a gorgeous couple from Northern Queensland, married down in Brisbane’s Light Space. This venue is the perfect setting for a moody, luxe evening soirée and that’s exactly what they had. Dark black brick walls were the backdrop for the luscious floral displays, huge light letters and amazing chandeliers. Everything in the styling came together perfectly, from the venue, florals, cake, furniture right through to the signage and stationery.
We worked with Olivia and Mitchell on the whole journey, from their Save the Dates right through to the wedding day. With their stationery, the main inspiration were the pheasant feathers used throughout the styling, as well as deep navy washes and burgundy florals. With the invitation suite, we stuck to a simple design with the feather, navy washes and gold foiling. The results were gorgeous and elgantly finished off with a gold wax seal and gold calligraphy. LUSH!!!
We then brought the vibrant florals from her bouquet into the ‘on the day’ stationery, creating a welcome sign, seating plan, personalised table menu’s and a large wooden name sign. Working not only with Olivia and Mitchell, but also with White+White Weddings and Events, the whole day came together beautifully and seamlessly. The results were amazing and we could not be happier with the amazing photos from Florido Weddings.
