The inspiration behind this shoot stemmed from the Ancora venue itself. It’s an incredible waterfront wedding venue on the Tweed river, right in the heart of Coolangatta/Twead Heads.
SJ, the curator and photographer out together a style which was modern and gutsy. Using monochrome with peach and gold accents, the contrast of the black against the white venue really made it pop! The shoot took place in the venue as well as the local beaches where the gorgeous sunset lent itself perfectly to the colours in the rest of the shoot. A key feature of this edgy shoot was the leather jacket I designed, which gave the bride a cool, rock chick vibe, which being super practical and keeping her warm in those afternoon hours.
We also created a super simple stationery suite for the shoot, using black and gold foiling. I couldn’t resist throwing in one of my venue illustrations for good measure, and finishing it off with the gold leaf trim really sealed the deal!
